What this calculator does
It adds all digits in a Gregorian birth date and reduces the total, preserving 11, 22 and 33. A separate nine-cell diagram counts the digits as written. This is the complete arithmetic used here.
Why another site may disagree
A calculator may reduce the day, month and year separately, or may not preserve double-digit values. Compare its worked example and stopping rule before comparing interpretations.
Names and other inputs
Some numerology methods convert letters in a name to numbers. This calculator does not ask for a name or calculate a name number; its result depends on the birth date alone.
